BTC Pressure Washing was born with the idea than business can be more than generating profits to maximize owner/shareholder wealth.
Instead of focusing on maximizing their own personal wealth, Jason and Tim set out to create a company that provides real value and growth for change. A company that shares its profits with its employees in the form of above-average compensation, full benefits, 401(k) matching and vacation time. A company that shares its profits with local community charities in the form of regular financial donations. A company that shows what it means to “Be the Change“.
Be The Change Services is an innovative new approach to business, combining professional cleaning services with philanthropy. While some respective organizations donate regularly to charitable causes, it’s our primary objective and stated mission. We believe that there is more to life than simply amassing as much personal wealth as possible. We believe money is simply a tool, to be used to advance the betterment of life for all of us.

Jason had spent his entire career building businesses and chasing wealth, but with each success just came a higher moving target that never brought him any true fulfillment. At the same time, Tim had spent his entire career helping manage a non-profit focused on serving the homeless — gaining deep insight into its systems, as well as the support and change that created in the local community.
Together, they saw an opportunity to bring each of them fulfillment and true change to the communities they serviced. Create a company that focused on making as much money as possible, and then give the lion’s share of those profits away. They then created Be The Change Services, as well as its first subsidiary, BTC Pressure Washing.

While many organizations donate a portion of their profits to charitable causes, it’s our primary objective and stated mission. We believe that money is an instrument that can facilitate societal change for the greater good, and that is a better use for it than hoarding it for personal enjoyment.
Because of our philanthropic ideology and since we are not focused on maximizing returns, we have the ability to do things that most other companies don’t have. We choose to operate our company with a different mindset in regards to the profits it generates.
